30-yr-old man injured in bear attack in Budgam | KNO

Budgam, Aug 05 (KNO): A 30-year-old man was injured after he was attacked by a bear on Wednesday afternoon in forests of Khansahib area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a man identified as Bashir Ahmad, son of Maam ud din, a resident of Kharian Khansahib was walking through the forests when he was attacked by a bear, leaving him severely wounded. The passerby, however, rescued the man following which the bear escaped from the spot. The injured man was immediately rushed to the Sub District hospital (SDH) Khansahab hospital in a critical condition—(KNO)
